Located in Queensland of Australia, the Mine is the second largest zinc mine around the world. In initial preparation stage, we communicated with entrusting party and personnel of the Mine via e-mail and telephone to prepare material list and application forms. However, as materials gained are not enough, they can only give a vague, instead of a systemic understanding. But, through on-site introduction by relevant staff to quarry, processing plant, pipeline transfer, docking port transportation and other links and related on-site survey, as well as investigation on calculation ways and standards of mine investment model and production cost, accrual methods on mine reclamation cost and pricing of product sales price based on LME metal price, valuers got a clear understanding on assets, operation model and profit-gaining ability of the Century Mine, which largely shortened the following assessment and ensured scientific and reasonable assessment value. The appraisal report has been filed by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
