CEA tops the appraisal industry in undertaking major asset reorganization projects of listed companies

In 2014, the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the CSRC reviewed
the applications of a total of 194 listed companies’ major asset reorganization
and share issuance for purchasing assets. All the 194 companies hired assets
appraisal institutions. Because three listed companies were denied to go
through the CSRC review procedures for the second time within the year, we made
statistics of 191 projects. 43 out of 70 securities appraisal institutions
participated in the projects, accounting for 61.43%. Top ten appraisal
institutions in terms of undertaking number are as follows:
